Executive Chef / Co-Owner Kasey Mills says:
"We saw this opportunity to bring a more character to the Shalom Y’all concept and give our guests a more detailed experience that feels more like Israel.
The menu is going to change more frequently. You’ll be seeing more new menu items, more often, with a bigger approach toward salads.
The new space will allow us to serve desserts, Turkish coffee, and with more prep space and equipment we can produce more and different food and spend more time on it.
We’ll have an extensive low proof cocktail menu by Jamal Hassan and Israeli and Mediterranean wines that are hard to find and unique to our list from Toro Bravo Inc’s Mindy Cook.
The layout of the restaurant is the same with added warmth and Israeli character and new wood-fired pita over, like MEC, and a new bathroom.
The walls are dark Mediterranean blue with MEC birds everywhere that are like walking into a Shalom bird cage."
