“The idea behind this entire menu is trying to bring sensory memory and nostalgia into reality. We pull it back from the depths of where we remember it ourselves, hit those those nerves of fond memory, and then recreate it with quality ingredients and procedures that we can stand behind,” said chef/partner Drew Sprouse. “One thing that is really nostalgic for a lot of people are nachos you would get as a kid at baseball games and roller rinks. They’re a fun little thing we’re excited about doing on the new Happy Hour menu that we’re making ourselves fried to order from tortillas with our house beer cheese sauce and pickled jalapeños. And they’re only three bucks. We're also filling out the menu really well with dishes that are a taste of our Southern roots, from the hush puppies to some of the baskets and offerings like the Carolina Cheesesteak inspired by John Gorham’s time at Monk’s and the Pretty Damn Good Chicken Strips from Tasty n Sons and the Hello! My Name is Tasty cookbook.”

The burger menu has been updated with the new LL Cool J Burger (avocado/bacon/ranch), the Brunch Burger (fried egg/bacon), the BBQ Burger (onion rings/cheddar/bbq sauce) and Josh’s Burger (chillies/griddled onions/pepper jack). The Fries & Sides menu introduces Tasty Hush Puppies with honey butter and Onion Rings. Our Salads menu has been updated with a new Simple Greens salad and the Bless Your Heart Salad with ranch, bleu cheese, bacon, sweet onion, croutons, and chopped egg. The new Baskets menu introduces Fish & Chips, beef or chicken Carolina Cheesesteaks, the Bless Your Heart Hot Dog, and Pretty Damn Good Chicken Strips.  The Sweets menu introduces milkshakes such as banana, chocolate malt, vanilla, seasonal, and for adults: Grasshopper Grown Ass Shake. We’ve also added hot fudge or caramel Ice Cream Sundaes and “Death by Chocolate” cones.

“The concept behind our updated bar program is fun, really well done versions of crushable cocktails with a strong whiskey focus,” said Bar Manager and partner Jamal Hassan. “We have a robust selection of approachable classic cocktails with a fun twist like a pineapple daiquiri I would drink all damn summer. We also added a whole menu of whiskey-based cocktails like our signature mule with fresh strawberries and Manhattans and Mint Juleps on draft. I essentially created a menu of drinks I wanted to drink myself with a burger and fries.”

The cocktail menu has been completed revamped with the BYH Mule with fresh strawberries, Bramble (gin, lemon, and blackberry), Daiquiri (rum, lime, and pineapple), and Single Barrel Old Fashioned. We’ve also added Margaritas, Manhattans, and Mint Juleps on draft. In addition to our “Good” and “Better” whiskeys, we now offer an “Even Better” whiskey option. We feature three local, Willamette Valley wines on cask. Brick House Chardonnay, J. Christopher Pinot Noir and Patton Valley Rose are now available, each priced at $10 per glass, $20 per half bottle and $40 for a full bottle. 

The Happy Menu offers Burgers, Fries & a Pint ($10), Roller Rink Nachos ($3), Cones ($2), Moscow Mules ($7), Cocktails ($7), Draft Beer ($3), Wine ($5), and corkage for a nickel (yes, five pennies!).

Our Brunch menu now includes Biscuits and Gravy, Auntie Paula’s Tasty French Toast with strawberry maple syrup and whip cream, and Classic Hash Browns. Brunch is available daily from 8am-12pm. 

We have also commissioned a beautiful new mural by artist Cory Bennett featuring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
